Nigeria: 118 Youth Groups Upbraid Buhari Over Ministerial List

The President Muhammadu Buhari ministerial nominees' list came under fierce criticism on Sunday as 118 youth organisations in Nigeria vehemently protested against the non-inclusion of any Nigerian youth in the cabinet and the low representation of women in the planned cabinet.

The list of signatories in a sttement are Nkiruka Nnaemego, Fresh and Young Brains Development Initiative; Hamzat Lawal, Connected Development; Peter Kalu, Young African Voices for Peace Initiative; Katsina Rabiu, PADEAP; Saada sàad, None; Comrade Nelson Nnanna Nwafor, Foundation For Environmental Rights, Advocacy and Development (FENRAD); Natalie Usen, Purple Signet Media; Adegboyega Adeoye, NASFAT, Youth Wing and 110 other organisations which jointly noted that the ministerial list is not reflective of youth representation.
