Sierra Leone: ADP Leader Fires Back At His Sacked Sec. Gen.

Chairman and Leader of the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray, has told journalists that erstwhile secretary general David Gbla "is a professional liar" and didn't understand the party's constitution.

Mr. Mansaray was reacting to a letter written by Gbla to the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) in which he claimed the ADP leader is the sole signatory to the party's account, takes critical decisions on behalf of the party without the knowledge of the secretariat, and has not been accountable as to the use of funds donated by diaspora party members, thus calling on him to resign.
