Tanzania: One More Cyber Crime Act 'Victim' Arraigned in Dar Court

The number of accused persons in the case of violation of the Cyber Crime Act 2015 has increased following the arraignment of an Arusha resident, George Aloyce Kimaryo (34).

Kimaryo, a hotelier, is accused of publishing inaccurate information regarding the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), General Davis Mwamunyange. He was brought before Senior Resident Magistrate Thomas Simba at the Kisutu Resident Magistrate's Court in Dar es Salaam last Friday where he denied the charge.
