Malawi: Government Needs 38000 Extra Classrooms to Provide Quality Education

Chiradzulu — Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Lonely Magaleta has said Government has a shortfall of 38000 classrooms to enable it provide quality education in the country.

Magaleta disclosed this Thursday at Chejanuary Village in Sub Traditional Authority Onga in Chiradzulu where Standard Bank handed over two classroom blocks worthy K33 million to Mkuyu Junior primary School. Standard Bank has constructed the school blocks in honor of its former Board Chairperson Alex Chitsime who comes from the area.
