Ghana: Aiti-Kace Hosts Second Ghana Internet Governance Forum

The Advanced Information Technology Institute (AITI) of the Ghana India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence (KACE) in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), on Wednesday, hosted the second edition of the Ghana Internet Governance Forum (IGF).

This year's forum, held four years after the first forum, was on the theme: "Ensuring Freedom, Security and Growth in our Digital World". Topics discussed included "Cyber Security and the Fight Against it"; "Affordable Internet Access"; "Open and Safe Internet"; and "Critical Internet Infrastructure". The others were "Building a Robust REN for Accelerated Development"; and "Creating Local Content".
