Algeria: Sahrawi President Calls On UN to Prevent Visit of Morocco's King to Occupied Sahrawi Territories

Sahrawi President Mohamed Abdelaziz called on the United Nations to prevent the visit of the King of Morocco to the occupied territories of Western Sahara, said the Sahrawi news agency SPS.

"We expect you to take all necessary measures, including immediate notification to the members of the UN Security Council, to intervene and prevent this visit, which is a serious escalation, a violation of the international law and fuels tension in the region," said the Sahrawi president in a letter to UN Chief Ban Ki-moon.
