Nigeria/Eswatini: Eagles to Get U.S.$20K Per Goal Against Swaziland

The Rivers State Government has pledged the sum of $20,000 for every goal scored by the Super Eagles against Swaziland in Tuesday's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Port Harcourt. This was revealed on the Super Eagles official Twitter handle on Monday.

The tweet read: "Rivers State Government pledges $20k per goal against Swaziland." Along with the tweet, the Rivers State-born Kenneth Kobani, who is also the Secretary to the State Government, was pictured with the players during a training session in Port Harcourt on Monday. Kobani, a card carrying member of the People's Democratic Party, made the pledge on behalf of the state government.
