Sudan: Militiamen Scare Off Residents in North Darfur

Tabit — Militiamen attacked several farmers in East Jebel Marra on Thursday, and expelled them from the area. Others entered villages near Tabit, scaring a number of residents away.

A witness in East Jebel Marra told Radio Dabanga that farmers in Koto were beaten with rifle butts and robbed of their money and property by pro-government militiamen.
