The giant mvule and mahogany trees are gone - by royal decree. In two letters dated October 10 and 12, the king of Bunyoro, Solomon Gafabusa Iguru, issued permits to timber dealer Asiimwe Addidas Omubiyasi to cut five mahogany trees opposite Masindi hotel, and the mvule trees on the Masindi-Kigumba road.
