Global health experts have, once again, giving the World Health Organisation (WHO) hard knocks over its failure to sound the alarm on Ebola until months into West Africa's outbreak.
At a specialist panel convened by Harvard's Global Health Institute (HGHI) and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) on Monday, the experts described the laxity of the global health body in this regard as an "egregious failure" which they said added to the enormous suffering and death toll.
