Algiers — The African Commission on Human and People's Rights hailed at its 57th session in Banjul (Gambia) the efforts made by Algeria in this area after it examined Algeria's periodic consolidated report.
"The commissioners praised the efforts and stressed that Algeria, which is evolving in a turbulent environment, has managed to preserve its stability. They have committed our country to continue to further deepen the democratic process through the reforms undertaken in order to give human rights an even greater visibility," the Foreign Affairs ministry said Monday in a statement.
