Rwanda: Police Deny 'Spate of Killings' of Motorcyclists

The police have denied there has been a 'spate of killings' of taxi-moto operators in order to steal their motorcycles, saying nevertheless that two such cases have happened.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Elias Mwesigye, the Central Regional Police commander, made the declaration during a meeting with thousands of motorcyclists operating in the City of Kigali, held at Kicukiro stadium on November 23.
