Dar es Salaam — Nearly 1,000 out of 6,000 babies born at the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) every year die due to shortage of lifesaving machines that are critical for their survival.
This was revealed at an event to hand over pedriatic equipment worth over Sh220 million ($100,000) donated by the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) to MNH's pedriatric intensive care unit.
