Uganda: Amama Regrets OPM Corruption

A day after launching his presidential campaign manifesto, independent candidate John Patrick Amama Mbabazi on Monday headed to Northern Uganda, a region some political pundits expected to be hostile to him.

However, if the crowds that received him are anything to go by, Northern Uganda does not have any ill-will against the former prime minister, who was dogged by the purchase of an official car from funds meant for the Peace, Recovery and Development Plan (PRDP).
