Sudan: Dr. Omer Affirms Government Commitment to Doha Document in Completing Peace Process in Darfur

Khartoum — Chairman of the government delegation for cessation of hostilities in Darfur, Dr. Amin Hassan Omer, has reiterated the government adherence to the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur as a mechanism to realize peace in Darfur.

At a press conference at the Friendship Hall Wednesday, Dr. Omer said the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur is regarded as a basis for completing the peace process in Darfur and was approved by the Security Council and stake holders (Darfur people).
