Nigeria: Osinbajo, Gowon, Danjuma Eulogise At 70

The Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, and former Minister of Defence, Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, were among the important dignitaries that extolled the virtues of the former Minister of Information, Prof. Jerry Gana, on his 70th birthday anniversary.

Osinbajo while peaking yesterday during the thanksgiving service at St. Mathew Anglican Church, Abuja organised in his honour, described the former minister as one of the few leaders who got himself into the consciousness of Nigerians through the words he spoke. According to him, "Prof. Gana belongs to all, and sometimes it is difficult to tell where he his from. He is one of the very few Nigerians that has somehow been able to get himself into the imagination and consciousness of Nigerians by the words that he spoke."
