Zimbabwe: Lalapanzi Couple Slaughters Employer's Calf, Bury Its Head in Garden

A LALAPANZI couple who stole their employer's five day old calf, slaughtered it before burying its head in the garden has been slapped with a nine year jail term after being convicted of stock theft.

Paul Mapurisa, 28, and his wife Priscilla Mpofu, 23, who resided at Mahamara Farm owned by Edmore Matutu connived to slaughter the calf and dried its meat which they hid in their hut.
