Effective planning is vital to achieving exceptional academic results irrespective of the number of subjects one does. This is according to Logan Geldenhuys from St John's College, who got 10 distinctions.
Geldenhuys took on 12 subjects in his matric. He got As in English, Afrikaans, mathematics, life orientation, physical science, information technology, music, history, German, and applied programme mathematics. He missed out on distinctions in Latin and applied programme English.
