Algeria: Draft Revision of Constitution Takes Into Account 70 Percent of Proposals Made During Consultations

Algiers — The draft revision of the Constitution has taken into account 70% of the proposals made by the participants in the consultations, said Tuesday in Algiers Minister of State, Principal Private Secretary to President of the Republic Ahmed Ouyahia.

Presenting this draft revised Constitution to the press, Ouyahia said that "all the sides were involved "in these consultations, which started in 2011, that is the political parties, the different national personalities as well as the representatives of the civil society."
