Zimbabwe: Newsday Deputy Editor, Reporter Arrested Over CIO Bonus Story, Two Detained At Harare Central

Police have arrested NewsDay deputy editor Nqaba Matshazi and his reporter Xolisani Ncube for publishing a story on Wednesday which revealed that the state favoured members of the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) over other government workers by paying them bonuses in December.

The two were by Thursday mid -morning still detained at Harare Central Police station where they were waiting for charges to be pressed against them.
