Huambo — At least 550,772 square meters of surface were cleared of landmines in 2015, in Huambo province, by the local brigade of the National Demining Institute (INAD).
According to the head of INAD operations, Castro Kapanda, there have been destroyed 14 anti-personnel and anti-tank landmines, detonated 33 explosive devices and 246 ammunitions of various calibers.
