Luanda — Angola is marking today (January 15) the National Day of Former Combatants and Motherland Veterans, established and approved by the National Assembly during its first extraordinary session of 2011.
With 170 votes in favor, 21 against and two abstentions, the National Assembly institutionalised the January 15 as the date for national celebration, assigning the State institutions to provide as much dignity as the anniversary deserves.
