The tanker drivers have called off their strike after having met with energy minister Dora Siliya and her labour counterpart Fackson Shamenda.
Petroleum drivers had grounded the tankers following longstanding grievances with the Energy Regulation Board that saw some motorists in most parts of the city inconvenienced leading to long queues in the few filling stations that had fuel.
