Menongue — At least 750,000 square meters were cleared of landmines in 2015 in the province of Kuando Kubango. The move facilitated the free movement of people and goods and the implementation of social-related projects and programs in the region.
Data were provided on Friday by the head of the National Institute of Demining's Department (INAD) in Kuando Kubango, Paulo Taukondjele, at the closing ceremony of refreshment seminar, addressed to local sappers.
