Egypt: Nine LNP Officers Off to Egypt for Training

The Liberia National Police (LNP) with support from the Egyptian Government has sent 13 of its officers to the North African nation for Training.

Disclosing this in an interview with the Liberia News AgencyFriday, Police Spokesman Sam Collins said the officers will undergo four months training in the areas of counter-terrorism, and institution protection, among others. In a related development, Collins has disclosed that 14 officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency and the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization have departed the country to undergo training at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMA).
