Tanzania: African Bank Steps in to End Arusha's Water Problems

The Government is embarking on an ambitious water scheme for Arusha City and its suburbs that will cost nearly 500 billion/- through a project that will run for the next four years.

The Managing Director for Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (AUWSA), Engineer Ruth Koya said recently that Tanzania has inked an agreement with the African Development Bank, for the grand project.
