National police commissioner Riah Phiyega's temporary replacement is doing something right, if the heap of praise he received on Thursday in Parliament is any indication.

Acting national police commissioner Khomotso Phahlane was presenting some of the SAPS's operations and successes to Parliament's police committee on Thursday, and the MPs were not stingy with positive feedback.
