Nigeria: NULGE Suspends Strike Over Nonpayment of Staff Salaries

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on Tuesday suspended its three days warning strike over nonpayment of three months salaries of the area councils staff.

City News learnt that the union had on Monday embarked on a three-day warning strike, following the nonpayment of their staff salaries. The union had earlier threatened to embark on a three-day warning strike on 1st of February, 2016, if nothing was done to pay staff salaries by FCTA.
