The aforementioned utterance is taken from the response of the renowned martyr monk Peter or Abune Petros to the acid test of integrity the fascist army challenged him with.."Why did he denounce the fascist regime while many of the bishops, including the then Egyptian bishop Kerlos, were not unwilling to bless its reign . The Abune was to be gunned down by the fascist's unfair and brutal decision for his rebelliousness to fascism and also for agitating the people to stand for the liberation of their country from an invading colonial troops.
