Sudan: Deputy Chairman of Council States - Referendum of Darfur Is Pledge Signed With Movements

Khartoum — Deputy Chairman of the Council of the States, Dr. Ibrahim Yousif Habani, said that holding of the administrative referendum in Darfur is a pledge which was stipulated by the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur.

He said in a statement to SUNA that the referendum was a demand of the movements which have signed the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur, stressing that time is now suitable for holding the administrative referendum for Darfur.
