Angola: BNA Reduces Sale of Foreign Currency

Luanda — The amount in foreign currency sold by the reserve Banco Nacional de Angola to commercial banks in the last five days has dropped from Usd 243.1 to Usd 169.6 million, which is 73.5 million less as compared with the previous period.

The information is contained in a BNA release posted on its website, stating that of the above amount, Usd 130.4 million were sold at auctions to cover the commercial banks priority operations.
