Cairo — The Egyptian stock market's benchmark index EGX 30 fell by 2.52 per cent after one hour of trading on Tuesday, dropping from 6,175 points to 6,019.
Both the index for small and medium enterprises EGX 70 and the broader EGX 100 have made sharp fluctuations. While EGX 70 inched up by 0.1 per cent after an hour of trading, EGX 100 retreated by 0.41 per cent, reversing a heavy dip at the start of trading.
