Liberia: Carter Center Official Raps On Legal Aid

The Chief of Party at the Carter Center in Liberia, Mr. Pewee Flomoku, has said the purpose of founding a Legal Aid and paralegal framework was due to the need to adopt measures to contain overcrowding of prisons and curb excessive pre-trial detentions.

Mr. Flomoku disclosed that Carter Center is helping to ensure access to justice and strengthen Liberia's legal system.
