Namutumba — There was drama at Namutumba Church of Uganda on Friday when supporters of the ruling NRM in Namutumba Town Council rejected Shs250,000 that had been given to them as sitting allowance on grounds that it was too little and therefore could not have been sent by party chairman Yoweri Museveni.
The money had been brought to the meeting by the chairman of the party in Namutumba Town Council, Mr Najib Mugweri, who was heckled by the group on announcing the sum.
