Nigeria: Seven Die in Jigawa Canoe Accident

Dutse — Seven persons have been reported dead after a canoe capsized in river Takai Gilma in Jahun local government of Jigawa State. The casualties are reportedly to be all girls.

Daily Trust learnt that the ill-fated canoe had 20 persons on board mostly young women between the ages of 10 to 15.
