Tanzania: GMO's Crucial in Increasing Crop Output

Mwanza — Commission for Science and technology (COSTEC), conducted a one day awareness workshop to deliberate on how crop genetic engineering can be used in improving productivity.

During the workshop held at Ukiriguru yesterday some researchers, tutors and journalists expressed their concerns on whether there is a conclusive research that had shown genetically engineered crops can help farmers improve productivity on farms.
