Beirut — Egyptian authorities should revoke an order that would shut down the most prominent institution in Egypt providing regular medical services and counseling to victims of police torture and other violence.
On February 17, 2016, the Nadeem Center for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence and Torture, founded in 1993, received an "administrative closure order" from Cairo governorate authorities stating that the center had violated the terms of its license but provided no details.
