South Africa: Woman's Body Found On Doorstep in Gordon's Bay

The body of a 47-year old woman was found on the doorstep of her home in Temperance Town, Gordon's Bay on Saturday.

According to Western Cape police provincial spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel André Traut, a neighbour of the woman came across the body early in the morning.

She had multiple stab wounds to her upper body.

"We believe the cause of the murder was a domestic argument between her and a boyfriend."

The man was arrested shortly after the woman's body was discovered and he is due to appear in court on Monday on charges of murder.

The woman reportedly lived in the housing development area in Mountain Terraces.
