South Africa: Six Injured in Hillcrest Taxi Collision

Six people were injured when a minibus taxi and another vehicle collided in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday.

According to ER24 Spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, paramedics found people scattered on the pavement with the taxi lying on its side alongside the road.

"Patients were found lying on the pavement, standing around and sitting on the side of the road."

Four men - including the taxi driver - and two women sustained injuries during the collision.

One of the injured passengers was a pregnant woman.

The injured were treated on the scene before being transported to the RK Khan Hospital in Chatsworth for further medical care.

The cause of the accident is still unknown with authorities on the scene for further investigations.
