The notion of waiting for 'Mr Right' has undergone a revolution - much like everything else about love has - in this century. Back in the day, the waiting meant you had to remain a virgin until the marital bed.

Now, the idea of secondary virginity is beyond laughable. Today's single woman usually has one or two children to her name, and has no scruples about playing the field as she waits for Mr Right to make up his mind.
