Africa: Four African Ambassadors to China - Chinese Enterprises Are Welcome to Invest in Africa

The two-day Seminar on Investment Promotion to Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique and Zambia took place in Tangshan, Hebei province, on February 25th. Officials of investment promotion agencies from Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique and Zambia and their diplomatic envoys to China attended the event, extending sincere invites to Chinese enterprises to invest in Africa.

The Kenyan ambassador to China, Michael Kinyanjui, said that since the relationship between China and Africa was elevated to comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, Kenya had put in place numerous incentive measures to encourage Chinese companies to invest in his country, as China-Africa cooperation needed further advancement. Kenya boasted a vast potential in the manufacturing and agricultural processing sectors and "We are looking forward to making further transition to achieve industrialization development."
