Angola/Russia Joint Commission Meeting Set for April

Luanda — The 4th Session of Angola/Russia Joint Economic Bilateral Commission meeting is scheduled for 14 -15 April in Luanda, aimed at planning new areas of cooperation, assess and strengthen the existing compliance level of partnerships, said Tuesday the Russian ambassador to Angola.

Dmitry Lobach announced this at the end of an audience the Angolan Vice President, Manuel Vicente, granted to him in Luanda, during which the two interlocutors reviewed the current bilateral and economic cooperation.

High on agenda of Angola/Russia Joint Commission meeting is the consolidation of the legal basis between the two States, the diplomat noted.

The ambassador put the commercial exchange between his country and Angola at USD 250 million in 2015, more significant in relation to 2014 that yielded USD 50 million.
