Angola: Employers Should Ensure Medical Tests for Workers

Luanda — Employers have responsibility to identify potential risks to which their workers are exposed to in the exercise of their activities and ensure periodic health screening.

This was said Tuesday in Luanda by general director of Security, Health and Safety Centre at Work, Isabel Cardoso.

The official was speaking to journalists on the conflict management in security, hygiene and health at work.

He said that such an obligation is in the light of the Law 31/94 of 25 August.

This law states that the employers should secure medical screening and create suitable conditions to ensure good health of his workers.
