Uganda: Police Hold Opposition Youth Over Museveni Win Protests

Masaka — Police in Masaka District last Friday arrested two Opposition youth leaders who were planning a demonstration against the Supreme Court ruling on the presidential electoral petition in favour of President Museveni, who was the NRM candidate in the race.

Those arrested are members of the Opposition political parties' pressure group "Youth for Justice Brigade" who claim to be dissatisfied by last Thursday's Supreme Court ruling that upheld President Museveni's victory.
