Tunis — The House of the People's Representatives (HPR) adopted, on Monday, by absolute majority, 17 of the draft status of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) (from 8 to 25) with attendance of 127 deputies.
The articles adopted in a plenary session, concern the mission of the BCT (article 8), boosting the legal means of the Bank (10 and 11), issuance of currency (13), monitoring payment systems and means (article 17), financial stability (18 and 19), the policy of change and management of reserves (22 and 23), control of credit institutions (24) and relation with the state (article 25).
