Ethiopia: Value-Added Agricultural Export - A Way Forward to Transforming African Economies

In his recent three-day state visit to Ghana, Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn together with his host, Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, have visited Cocoa Touton Processing Company Limited, a cocoa processing company, engaged in the manufacturing of cocoa-derived food ingredients. The company was founded in 2011 and is mainly engaged in the production of natural cocoa liquor for export to the US, EU, Asia and the Middle East.

Cocoa is the chief agricultural export of Ghana and the country's main cash crop which makes the country the second largest cocoa exporter in the world.
