Liberia: We Support Loyalty to Constittution, Not Individual

Liberia Is Approaching a crucial period in its political history and efforts are being exerted to ensure that next year's legislative and presidential elections are held in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The challenges ahead are huge amid fears that the electoral processes might get disorderly if the various security stakeholders along with their international partners do not brainstorm to mitigate some of these obvious security concerns.

The UN Mission has already outlined its plan to remain in Liberia during the 2017 presidential and legislative elections; thereafter, it would considerably reduce its presence in Liberia, thus leaving the Liberian security forces to flex their authority across the country during and after the elections.
