Africa: Link Between Green Law and Journalism

In 2012, the Pretoria-based Regional Agricultural and Environment Initiatives Network-Africa (RAEIN-Africa) organised and funded a three-day capacity building conference for environmental journalists and legal people on the 1992 Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and its protocols.

These protocols are the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing, the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety and the Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress (to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety).
