Zanzibar — Schools in flood and cholera prone areas have temporarily suspended classes for nursery and standard 1-IV children to minimise risks of infection.
At least three school children died and seven students were diagnosed with cholera this week, prompting a meeting between health officers, local leaders and schools (including private) to discuss the issue.
