Egypt: Civil Aviation Ministry Issues Statement On Air Sinai Jet

Spokesman for the Civil Aviation Ministry Ehab Raslan said that an Air Sinai Boeing 737-800 plane took off Saturday 23/04/2016 from Cairo International Airport at 04:55 (Cairo local time) and crossed by the Cypriot airspace.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry underlined that when the Cypriot concerned bodies were late in sending the data of the plane to Israel, the Israeli aircraft intercepted the jet at 05:40.
